It's almost 8am and in approximately 1 hour I'll be on the bus, on my way to my first day of school. I woke up at 6am, it was easy because I feel a little nervous. Nothing compared to when I worked my way through July, the earliest I got up then was 4:30am. I'm sitting at my desk, drinking a cup of tea while listening to this.

All right then! Almost done cleaning my room! I don't think I can do much more for the moment, I'll have to wait until tomorrow when I've bought some new furniture and actually begin rearranging my room.
Half of my possesions are outside in the TV-room, waiting to be put in my new closet and my new bookshelf which I am buying tomorrow!
It feels really good cleaning out all my stuff, haven't seen some of it since I moved to Sweden 10 years ago.
Now, I think I'll watch a movie and have some crisps! With some tsatsiki dip, let's have a toast to that, eh? And then I'll call it a night!

Again, I have to apologize for being so unbelievably lazy with updating. Small update, though.
During the last three weeks i have traveled to Strömstad, a coastcity on Sweden's border, very close to Norway. Together with 3 friends of mine we took the earliest train(06:47am), danced the night away at a nightclub and got free drinks, got thrown out five minutes before closing time, brought home two extremely goodlooing norwegians and burnt my back in the sun. it was probably my best trip. Still can't believe my parents actually allowed me to go...
I've also been hanging inside the house, watching BBC Entertainment (my new favourites are Only Fools and Horses, After You've Gone and Dalziel & Pascoe), but also MTVTWO.
Monday 24th of August, next Monday that is, I start school. My new school. I'm not very keen on it, to be honest... You've got to do what you've got to do, though. No escapes!
Talking about procrastination! I've finally come around to begin tidying my room. Actually, I've tidied all my clothes up just before I started writing this. I'm also rearranging my room and getting new furniture some time this week. Excellent. I've got so much music I have to update you with, I'm considering doing a post only consisting of my favourite danceable melodies. HA!
Well, I've really got to get back to cleaning my room now. Later I thought I'd make a caffeine-free cup of tea, have a facial, skip omegle for the night(addicting!) and continue reading Trainspotting. Later babes! xoxo

boys and girls, sophie is back on track!

during my little break, i've worked my way through july, bought a nikon d60 and focused less on internet. i feel a lot better, though i've missed blogging a lot!
so, what have i done when not being online? for one, i've watched mtv2. heaps better that the swedish mtv, and we just about got it. i've also been out, i've read and i've just been relaxing. i'm now finished with the harry potter books and i'm planning a visit to the cinema soon, to see the sixth movie. directly after i finished the harry potter books, i started reading the hobbit. it was a great book! while i'm waiting for the fellowship of the ring to be returned to the library, i started reading trainspotting, which is a nightmare to read. for once, it's depressing as hell. and it's written in scottish, so i have to reread the sentences at least three times for it to go through my head.
enough said, though. this became a long post. now, i think i'll take some time to go on omegle.

i just discovered jamie cullum and his music, i tell you, is the ultimate lounging/relaxing music.
a couple of days ago i decided to get spotify and well that's how i found out about jamies soothing, jazzy melodies. the advertbreaks inbetween songs are however, very annoying.
tonight i was supposed to meet my girls at the airport when they arrive back from nice, but i expect them all to be very tired, so i think i'll see them tomorrow.

morning! yesterday evening i watched the proposal. it was really nothing special. boy meets girl not aimed for each other something complicated happens and they fall in love movie ends with a romantic unexpected kiss. so typical.
talking about movies. i tried to watch the twilight movie for the first time the other night. it was really slow at buffering, so i had to stop around half the movie or i would not have been able to get up in the morning. anyways. it was one of the worst movies i've ever seen. the acting was horrble, it seemed forced, they were stuttering and... it was all so fake. i've of course read the books before i saw the movie and seeing the movie messed up my imagination. something else i hate about books being "film-atized" is that they cramp everything so that it will all fit into a 2-hour movie. and in the books, edward is sucha confident, heartmelting bastard. in the movie, he was insecure and shy. ugh. maybe i'll watch new moon when it hit's the cinemas anyway. hoping for it to be better..

today, i've again sunbathed from 11am to 4pm in the afternoon. my upper backside is crimson red, sunburnt and so is my face. my legs though, have actually gotten quite a nice tan. and so have my arms. and tomorrow is a new day filled with sun, music and twilight.
i've actually gotten quite caught up in the twilight series, again, despite that i promised myself i wouldn't. i've just started reading the second book, new moon, and i've taken a break, just after Edward's departure. i can't believe how much it actually depresses me! i might start reading again tomorrow or tonight, if i'm up for it.
another thing that is bothering me is that, a friend that i've had for almost half my life, is throwing me insults. almost always been there for me, we've had our downs but that is unsignificant. what i don't understand now is the angry behaviour this person shoots at me whenever he/she gets the chance. i feel i have done nothing wrong, and i do not understand; why such acting and over-drama, if i have now done anything wrong? maybe i am simply overreacting..

ooh, the weather has literally b e a u t i f u l for mor than a week now and this is a rare phenomenon in sweden during summer. talking about phenomenon, i've started reading twilight again, i love it. but i won't let myself get too deep into the story this time, last time i was depressed for a month. anyways.
on saturday i went to the movies with A and watched the 3D horror movie. it was not at all anything i'd expected and the 3D-effects weren't so intimidating. and yes, we had great seats. right in the centre of the hall. the money wasn't completely wasted though. the movie's scary moments with countless murders were actually quite scary. the plot however, was very confusing. while being a horrormovie, it was also a thriller, a crime investigation. could've mixed well, but the manuscript was too poor.
yesterday A and I went to a barbie down by the beach and had a great time with my old classmatesm including M. i miss him so much, it's great when he comes back to sweden. fun times!
today i've literally been outside almost al day, soaking up the sun for about 5 hours straight. i'm imagining i've got a little colour, but i rarely get really brown. the weird thing is that my skin has been really "tannable" since i was a kid.

hey dudes. so, i'm back. with what? a computer that is a little bit faster. i don't have any pictures or music or anything right now so i'm slightly dying here.
anyways. yesterday was my 17th birthday and it was awesome. i was tricked into going to the movies, but it was really a surprise party down by the sea! i was in shock.
it was a day full of laughs and i wasn't upset one second. a good day!

what have i done today? i've been to the ESG end-of-school celebration. last year, when i graduated, i was overjoyed by just the thought of no more hell. i was so melancholic and the nostalgica was flowing freely. a lot of my old classmates were there too, but what made me sad was the fact that many of the teachers were retiring and i may never see them again.
anyways, my parents are at some party tonight so i thought i'd have a girl's night in with J and C. J recently left and C left like an hour ago. it was nice, they made their own coffee and they said it was supercosy. i'm glad! we watched american pie 2 and seriously, it never gets old.

ha! i just finished bleaching my jeans for the third and (hopefully) the last time. this time i didn't use any water and they are right now hanging outside my window. i'll wash them later, i just want the chlorine to sink in.
today, after the end of school celebration, i went into town with J, as mentioned. she met some of her chinese friends and i felt kinda left out haha, so i went to buy some studs and try on the big tshirt with shoulderpads from weekday. i bought 50 studs and the tshirt was unbelieveably good looking. the shoulder pads were very balmain-ish. i am going to buy it. oh yes.

hey peeps! the end of school celebration took place today, but i arrived late, just before it ended
